New Harley-Davidson® Milwaukee-Eight Engine™
We know you're supposed to save the best for last, but the folks here at Roughneck Harley-Davidson® are pretty excited, so here it is: The brand new Harley-Davidson® Milwaukee-Eight Engine™! This is the motor that drives the new 2017 model year Touring family, and for good reason. The Milwaukee-Eight is designed specifically to meet the needs of Harley-Davidson®'s heavy touring bikes, providings marked power improvements from low RPM ranges, all the way to the red line. When you stack up the new Milwaukee-Eight against its Twin Cam predecessors you can see a significant difference right of the line, with the Milwaukee Eight™ displaying a two bike length edge over older models not only in the zero to sixty range, but from sixty to eighty miles per hour as well. Harley-Davidson® New Suspension
The new Harley-Davidson® Touring family didn’t just get a major engine upgrade, these bikes received a suspension overhaul as well. Both front and back, the new touring family now features larger pistons for even dampening response through the full travel of the suspension. The front end has received a bit of special attention, and now features Showa® dual bending valve technology, with suspension travel of a full 117 mm on standard bikes (Lowered bikes have 98 mm of travel). The rear suspension didn’t get overlooked either, for ease of use the rear suspension of Harley-Davidson®’s 2017 touring line now features tool free pre-load adjustment. Want to tweak your ride after a passenger hops off? Just make a few turns and you’ll be ready to roll. Loading down the saddlebags for a long ride? All it takes is a few quick twists and you’re on your way. No tools, hassle or stress, just more time on the road.
Harley-Davidson® Screamin' Eagle® Performance Upgrade Kits
Harley-Davidson® Screamin' Eagle® products have been on the market since the turn of the century, but in the 2017 model year they're getting a bit of a tune up. Now, the Screamin' Eagle® performance upgrade kits will be compatible with the full line of 2017 Harley-Davidson® motorcycles! Soup up your Sportster®, or get your Dyna® ready for the drag strip with the wide arrange of upgrades, from the simple stage I upgrade to the fierce stage IV upgrade. If you're looking to upgrade an older bike, then the Screamin' Eagle® kits are ready for that too; these performance products are compatible with Dyna®, Softail®, and Touring motorcycles from 2007 and on, as well as the Sportster® bikes from 2014 and later.
